§ 4-16. Established salvage yards.

A.
For purposes of this local law, the location of salvage yards already established shall be considered approved by the Town Board as to location and fencing.

B.
Within 60 days of the effective date of this local law, the owners and/or operators of any established salvage yards, if they have not already done so, shall file with the Town Clerk a survey, or other suitable drawing, which locates the boundaries of any established salvage yards.

C.
No established salvage yard may expand its use or salvage yard area without further approval of the Town Board.

D.
Except as provided in Subsection A of this section, the owners and/or operators of any established salvage yard shall be subject to the provisions of this local law.
