§ 49-5. Posting of signs.

A. 

All signs posted advertising such a sale must be temporary in nature and must be removed immediately after the sale ends. Failure to remove signs in a timely fashion may be reason to deny a future permit.

B. 

Prior to the first day of the yard sale, the Lancaster Highway Department may post "NO PARKING" signs in the neighborhood. At the conclusion of each yard sale activity, the resident hosting the sale is to collect the "NO PARKING" signs and place them in their yard. The signs are not to be disposed of; instead, call the Highway Department at 683-3426 informing them of the location of the signs. Town employees will pick up the signs on the first workday following resident notification.
