§ 24-3. Penalties for offenses.

A.
Solicitation from house to house under a hawking and peddling permit shall be permitted during the hours of 9:00 a.m. to 7:00 p.m., Monday through Saturday, and solicitation on any other days or times is a violation of this ordinance.

B.
Any person violating any of the provisions of the foregoing sections shall be liable to a fine or penalty of not more than $50 for each offense or for imprisonment of not more than 30 days, or both.

C.
Notwithstanding the above, this ordinance shall not apply to not-for-profit youth groups such as, but not limited to, Boy and Girl Scout clubs, baseball organizations, hockey clubs, soccer clubs, swim clubs, school band organizations or any similar youth groups.
