§ 21A-9. § 21A-9. When effective.

This local law shall take effect immediately upon proper posting and publication, as provided in the Town Law, provided that, at a referendum at the general election held for the purpose of submitting this local law for approval by the electorate pursuant to the provisions of law, a majority of the qualified electors of the Town, voting at said referendum, shall approve the same by voting for adoption of said local law.
